José Peña is a 41-year-old, second-generation coffee producer. He manages three of the seven hectares of coffee plants on Finca Los Naranjos, which is located at 1,700 masl in Vereda Cardal, Acevedo, Huila. His journey with coffee began 25 years ago when his parents gifted him 2 hectares of land. He began with 1,000 coffee trees of Castillo and decided to invest and purchase an additional hectare of land to expand his production. José grows Pink Bourbon, Castillo, and Supremo on his farm, Los Naranjos, which is located at 1,700 masl in Acevedo, Huila.
