About the coffee

Bursa comes from the Bensa district of Sidama, a high, forested corner of southern Ethiopia where heirloom trees grow between roughly 1950 and 2300 metres. The cherries are picked ripe and dried whole as a natural, then separated to the peaberry.

Slow drying at altitude gives a layered, fruit-forward cup. Tropical yellow fruit and white blossom sit on top, with blueberry, peach and raspberry underneath and a honeyed sweetness through the finish.
