The "La Riviera" farm is located at over 1700m altitude in the Risaralda region of Colombia, this one was founded by Julio César Madrid, 3ᵉ generation of coffee growers, La Riviera offers excellent climatic conditions, necessary for growing coffee. The farm aims to be versatile and excel in all areas, from bean selection to respect for fermentation processes. This attention to detail and the quest for new sensations in the cup have given rise to innovative techniques such as Culturing. Mostly based on the rigor and knowledge of the grower, this method gives rise to coffees transformed by research. This is a new fermentation technique in the world of specialty coffee, using fruit cultures, aromatic plants and/or micro-organisms.
